So, this is it – something I for one never thought would happen – A Rangeley family reunion. This is not something I was out to plan but something that just sort of came together. I think it was Maureen that was coming back east – and it morphed into a let’s all get together call between Marianne and I..

This could be the FIRST time all the first cousins have gathered in one place a the same time.

This will likely be the LAST time we have this opportunity.

I don’t want to be dramatic, but if you are on the fence about attending – you only have this one chance. I doubt anyone will regret going, but not going? that could lead to regrets…

Let us gather, remember and respect what has brought us together and make this a grand memory

Arrivals on the 1st and 2nd (I arrive on the 2nd)

There is not much formality planned around the occasion aside from a couple of dinners.

  • Saturday night, First Cousins dinner at loon lodge
  • Sunday night, Everyone up at the Lake house Condo (AirB&B) for dinner and drinks
  • Monday – Betty’s birthday party (she turns 105)  Pontoon boat tour around the lake?

If you need any transportation or lodging help reach out to me.

As it stands now, I am picking up Marianne from Portland (KPWM) on Thursday night. Our Air B&B does not become available until Saturday, so we will be in North Yarmouth until Saturday morning arriving Rangeley by noon or so.

If you are flying into Portland before Saturday morning I would be happy to pick you up and provide transportation to and fro.  Optional trip down to Madison for a couple of nights at Mittenstock Wednesday if anyone is interested in that (Mittenstock is our White Mountain home in NH). Right on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest – there is no end to adventure opportunities.

Also, North Yarmouth is available to you – 25 minutes from Portland where there are also things to do (I am told)
