Back to Mittenstock this weekend. It has been almost three weeks I think – since we were there.

The sunset on Thursday night was somewhat other worldly.

At least I though so. I almost missed it – I was doing other things when I looked out and saw this cloud turned to fire.

With Covid – there will be changes in Skiing this year. I think everyone is kitting out with AT Skis.

My return to regular skiing as an adult was on a pair of Black Diamond Converts and DynaFit Ultra light bindings. I used only that set up in the park and off piste for 6 years before getting modern park ski’s for last seasons million foot run.

This year due to the challenges that will exist at the resort, having the up and down kit is key – and today we picked up Sally’s kit. A sweet setup indeed.

We zipped out to the covered bridge for a quick walk with the dogs – We both remarked on the amount of water in the swift – then realized it was early season snow melt (it was 68 degrees at the time)

A pleasant walk – and. the dogs love it.
