The journey into winter seems sudden at first – ‘past peak’ is often mentioned far too early in the process of the spectacular transition to winter. The color moves around – the fallen leaves bring a welcome color and texture to the forest floor while the last holdouts, the oaks and the beach, hang on to a bright yellow finish.
However – all good things WILL come to an end – so I run out when the suns out and try to preserve the view
This was a two panel HDR panorama each with 5 frames. So roughly 400mb of source for the shot.
